Tiny handmade pins were used to pin clothing & accessories on in a bygone era. The pins used here come from mudlarking finds from the River Thames. The shape they are is how they were found, & I forge & form the silver to fit around the pin, then handstitch the two together with silk threads. Brooches can be commissioned in a variety of shapes & colours if prefered.
The pin on the brooch pictured measures approx. 3.5cm & 3.5 x 2.5cm for the silver. UK postage is included.
