Tiny handmade pins were used to pin clothing & accessories on in a bygone era. The pins used here come from mudlarking finds from the River Thames. The shape they are is how they were found, & I form the silver to fit around the pin, then handstitch the two together with silk threads. Brooches can be commissioned in a variety of shapes & colours if prefered.
The pin on the lapel pin pictured measures approx 2.75cm for the pin & 2.5 x 1.5cm for the oxidised silver. UK postage is included.
