These silver drop earrings incorporate pins found when mudlarking on the Thames foreshore. The pins were handmade a few hundred years ago & would've been used to keep clothing on & to attach accessories. I hand stitch them to the silver earrings with silk threads in colours reflecting the city the river runs through, & in making them wearable again add another layer to their history.
The pins in the ones pictured measure approx. 2.5cm, & the earrings measure approx. 4cm in length. UK postage is included.
